WELCOME TO A NEW DI SEASON!

 

 

I hope all of you have had a restful and relaxing summer and that you are now ready for some EXCITEMENT!

 

For those of you that have not yet done so, you will want to download your National and NY State Membership Forms from our website at http://www.nydi.org and get them to whomever pays the bills for your teams!  Your International Membership form can be accessed at http://nydi.org/03nationalapp.pdf and you NY State form can be downloaded from http://nydi.org/03nymember.pdf

 

If you have not yet notified your Region that you will be participating in our program for the 2002-2003 School year you will want to make contact with your Regional Director.  If you are unclear which region is yours check out the map at http://nydi.org/regions.htm

 

In the EASTERN REGION your Regional Director, Chris Lucas will be able to assist you in processing your Regional membership through PNW-BOCES.  You can contact Chris at lucasc@child.cpmc.columbia.edu

 

In the CENTRAL REGION your Regional Director, Gail Hunt will be happy to help you process your Regional membership.  You can contact Gail at ghunt1@twcny.rr.com

 

In the WESTERN REGION your Regional Director, Dee Urban will be able to assist you in proessing your Regional membership through Erie-BOCES2, or you can contact Debra Farnham at BOCES2 directly at dfarnham@e2ccboces.wnyric.org to arrange your BOCES contract/cross contract.

 

IF YOU ARE AN APPRAISER FOR NYDI please print, complete and return an Appraiser Response Form as soon as you can – we expect this to be a very exciting year and places on the Appraisal Teams will be filling up quickly – let us know which Challenge interests you as soon as possible to be sure to be placed on your first choice team!  You can download the Response Form at http://nydi.org/03appraiseform.pdf

 

AND NOW THE NEWS YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR….

 

The COMPLETE 2002-2003 Challenges, Rules and Guides are now available for download from the International Website at http://www.destinationimagination.org  While you are able to download the Challenges, Rules and Guides before you process your membership I’ve been asked to remind you that you will not be allowed to attend trainings or participate in tournaments without an active membership in DI, Inc., NYDI and your Region.  It is to your benefit to take care of your membership responsiblities early in the school year.
