On April 24th 2022, join thousands of marathoners and half marathoners for an epic running journey a decade in the making! Founded in 2011, the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon now has a course worthy of the borough it calls home and a great new Spring date. So get those sneakers ready to run your choice of 13.1 or 26.2 miles across Kings County—all while raising money to support New York’s DI programming!
As a Charity Partner of the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon, Destination Imagination of New York has been granted ten marathon & half marathon entries. In addition to receiving guaranteed entry, Destination Imagination of New York team runners will receive an exclusive team shirt and a customized thank you gift from our local participants. Destination Imagination of New York will also cover the race registration fees for all its runners.
If you are interested in running with the Destination Imagination of New York team, please submit your application here. Team runners do not have to be affiliated with Destination Imagination, so we encourage you to share this opportunity with all the runners in your life.
In exchange for entry, team runners are required to raise $1,000 for Destination Imagination of New York. Destination Imagination of New York will offer fundraising platforms and tools (including a team and personal Run This One fundraising page) and promotion on both social media and at our upcoming events. All funds raised from the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon will be put towards sustaining and growing the Destination Imagination of New York program. Applications will be reviewed and runners will be accepted on a rolling basis, so make sure to get yours in soon!
